"After we lost Earth, our colony fleet spent almost a century looking for a new home. We found the Bovi. They welcomed us with open arms, and for a few decades everything seemed to be going well. But when the outbreak occurred, they changed. Humans became the enemy, diseased vermin to be exterminated. Our old fleet is no longer space-worthy, long since stripped for parts. Now, all we can do is hide, and pray, as we struggle to find a cure."

I wonder if they’ll remember us—we were so few when we were taken. Perhaps the Kitharians left an impression on our ancestors, as they did us."

Turned out the Raven’s last known location was Jakarta, a not-so-little detail I wish I’d known before I agreed to bring him in. But I didn’t ask. So now here I am, trying to figure out where to begin. Damn… This one’s gonna take a while."
